I started in consulting and full-stack engineering, moved into architecture, and now lead engineering teams. Along the way I've built data pipelines, event streams and, more recently, AI agents and the evaluations that keep them honest, across media and education technology.

I lead with clarity. Teams move fastest when ambiguity is settled early and decisions rest on evidence, and that matters even more now that AI is reshaping how software gets built. I've watched the same AI tools speed one team up and slow another down, and figuring out why is what I enjoy most.

Outside work, I'm outnumbered by twin toddlers, which is why my coffee setup keeps getting more serious. Role-playing games and the odd drone flight get whatever time is left.
